If it’s not, then maybe reconsider making that sacrifice. Because no one can guarantee your hard work will pay off. It’s only if you think the journey is also worth it that it would be worth it.
You have to be prepared for the long haul,
you have to be prepared for zero recognition of your hard work,
you also have to be prepared that you just might not get there.
Don't tunnel vision on the goals that you forget to live, coz that’s never worth it.
Don’t wait till some arbitrary milestone before you start prioritizing YOU!
It’s not about “if I’m xxx, then I can relax and be happy”. It’s more like “if I’m happy and doing me, then I have all the time in the world to be xxx”.
