Self-healing

Healing doesn’t mean you’ve gotten rid of the pain completely. It means you don’t react to old triggers with the same intensity and the awareness to not judge yourself when your mood does take a turn.


You’ll always know where the scars are, how they happened, when they happened, they might even become part of your character. But they won’t ever be important enough to define you unless you want it to be.


So even if you found yourself in a dark pit again, don’t be so quick to judge yourself or let frustration consume you even more. You’ve gotten yourself out of there so many times. You’ll do it again. I’m so proud of you for your progress and the effort to put your own happiness first. ❤️
